Philosophy Adventure Giveaway!

School is winding down for most people…and what does that mean for those of us that homeschool? Finding next years curriculum!! I have only picked a few things for next year so far, so I was plenty excited when I was asked to review Philosophy Adventure!ย  It is geared towards grades 6-12 which is perfect for my kids!

Stacey Farrell is releasing Philosophy Adventure TODAY!! I was lucky to get a little sneak peek and can’t wait to really dig into it! At the end of my post, look to see the Philosophy Adventure Giveaway! You will want this!!

Stacey took three years to put this curriculum together and it shows! There is so much detail and I haven’t even looked at everything! There are maps, timelines, questions, journaling…so many things included!Philosophy Adventures collage

I received the digital copy of the Reader, Teacher Resource Guide and Student Workbook.

The complete curriculum ($89.95) includes:

  • Full Color Reader – a spiral bound, 8.5 x 11โ€ณ, colorful text filled with relevant images, philosopher stories, writing lessons, critical thinking lessons, public speaking lessons, historical geography, primary sources, and a biblical worldview analysis. It also contains detailed writing checklists and delightful creative writing prompts.
  • Student Workbook – includes philosopher notebook pages, mapping assignments, quizzes, tests, and more.
  • The Teacher’s Resource – includes keys to the quizzes, tests, and mapping assignments, timelines, and โ€œat-a-glanceโ€ instructions designed to simplify your role as instructor.

There are other options available on the website including a digital only version like I received for $39.95.

Here is a little video to help understand what Philosophy Adventure is all about!

You can work this into a four or five day school week, which I love that choice because we have a four day week! You can also use it as a year-long supplement to your regular history program, or as a more intensive 8- or 16- week course.

I will have a more in depth review closer to August! You can purchase your own here, and if you would like to enter to win your own digital copy, you can do that below! Check out Homeschool Adventure Co. for other products as well!
