Thursday Things

A while back on youtube there was someone doing Thursday Latelies.  (bex from bexadiary)You know, things that they enjoyed that week.  While I am not presently dressed or presentable enough for a video, a little blog post won’t matter…right?  😀

You can’t see me in my magenta sweat pants, pink shirt and blue sweatshirt with blue hoodie.  Of course I am sure you can imagine all of that loveliness in your head now, right?   I am cold!!!  It’s supposed to snow tonight!  And then tomorrows low is going to be 19!  Brrrr….I will have to add my puffy jacket and some socks to my ensemble tomorrow methinks.

So anyway, I came up with Thursday Things.  (So original, I know…) Things that made me happy this week, or things that I enjoyed.  Or whatever.  Because sometimes you just have to be reminded about the good..  :nodding:

First thing:  This hummus.  OH my word.  I have a love/hate relationship with hummus in the stores.  I can eat it all day long in restaurants.  But for some reason finding one in the store that I like is just difficult.  I have gotten this in spurts, but this last week, I have eaten it a LOT.  With Pita crackers.  So, so, good.. Seriously good.  I may have to have some later.  I just had some dark chocolate chips and Cracklin’ Oat Bran and I don’t think hummus would taste good after that.  😛

Second thing:  Jeffy’s immune system!!  He got what we are assuming was the flu at a seminar he went to on Thursday.  How do I know that is where he got it?  Well, his boss got it and two other people they were with got it as well.  And him and his boss got hit with the start of a fever at the exact same time.  Weird, eh?  But Jeffy has such a crazy immune system that first of all, he rarely gets sick, but when he does, he is better so much sooner than anyone else could even imagine.  Yay!

Third thing: This picture.  I forgot that I took it a while back.  I shared it on facebook already, forgive me if you are seeing it again…  I remember us all being outside and the sun was setting.  Someone had asked me if it was a bubble and I am assuming it was.  I remember Lauren buying bubbles at the store a while back.  We usually don’t buy them because they end up spilling everywhere.  You know how that goes, right? Well, not having any sort of macro lens, I was happy that I was able to get the shot that I did with just my 50mm.  🙂  So, even though I took the pic a while back, I just rediscovered it this week.

Fourth thing: Signing up for a Love Swap.  What’s that, you ask?  Sounds like the newest reality show?  Nah…I think they’ve done something like that already…lol.  Kendra at Domestic Princess in training is starting a Valentine Snail Mail swap.  It’s basically a Secret Santa turned Valentine exchange.  You can send crafty things, yummy things…whatever!  Do you want to join in with me?  It is her first year doing it, so the more the merrier!  Here is the link!  Snail Mail Love Package Swap  You have to sign up by January 20th, so hurry hurry!  Who knows, I may have you for a partner, or the other way around!  😉

Fifth thing: This song.  I love love love it!!  I could say so much about it!  Obviously it is just dang catchy…I find myself humming it quite often but am not annoyed when it gets stuck in my head.  You know those songs..ugh!  And it just reminds me of Jeffy.  But this part of the song… * Home is wherever I’m with you *  Yep.  That’s us.  Right there.  Nailed it!

That is all of my Thursday Things!  Do you have anything that you enjoyed this last week?  Let me know what you think about mine!  🙂
