31 Day Blog Challenge {Day 11}

Today’s entry in the 31 Day Blog Challenge is an easy one.  The prompt is: The Last Book You Read.

If you follow me on facebook you will know the last book I read.  And how it made me angry the other night when I stayed up to finish reading it.  Grrr…

So, it is quite the interesting book.  I did have to get myself used to the way it was written, the wording was basically with a strong accent and a lot of words are spelled incorrectly because of it.  That totally messes with my brain.  I had issues with the ending, but I guess that was the leading factor in me going to the library on Friday for the sequel in the series.  lol.

  1. Interesting! What’s it about??

      It is basically another planet where everyone can hear thoughts..of men, animals..but not women. There is a boy who is 12yo that is the main character. He has to run away and ends up meeting a girl. It is all pretty much their story about running away and what they encounter. It is a cliff hanger for sure and my heart was racing a few times…a few tears too..but that is my own sensitive nature when it comes to that certain thing. 😉 I would recommend it if you could get past the wording.. 🙂

    Frustrating when the ending leaves you hanging…isn’t it? Years ago I typed a story/play for a guy who was writing his college term paper. He wrote it with a hanging ending… He got an A of course and went on to produce/direct plays….. so I guess he knew what he was doing!!! LOL!!

    I love books that leave you wanting more!

    I hate cliffhangers! Especially when the next book doesn’t come out for years. I finished “A Dance with Dragons” last year and I’m absolutely desperate for George R.R. Martin to get the next book out!

      Oh, that’s how it was with a couple other series I read! Frustrating! I learned to just read series that are all out already, that way I can just go to the next one, lol. Of course I may not always be current with what everyone else is reading, but that’s ok, saves my sanity. 😉 hehehe
