Owen Farm

A few weeks ago we went with our homeschool group to Owen Farm. It is located in Danville, VA. I hadn’t ever been to Virginia before, so we all cheered when we saw the ‘Welcome to Virginia’ sign on the side of the road. 🙂 It took us only a short time to get to the border, we will have to go back to the city part of Danville and check it out…

It had been raining for a week straight and we were all wondering how the weather was going to be. Luckily, it seems the minute we crossed the border it stopped drizzling. It made for a wonderful day! Just a little cool and breezy, which is fine with me!

It is such a cute farm! They have a concession stand, petting farm, corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides, and more! They thought of everything…

Here are some pics from our day. 🙂 I would totally recommend this place, if you are in the area!
